China: Yanbian Jilin Post Inspection seizes fruit

On 16 January, the Post Inspection Bureau of the Yanbian Jilin Inspection and Quarantine Bureau intercepted 4.2 kilograms of fresh fruit (oranges and persimmons) in the mail to South Korea. Some of the persimmons were already rotten. Following the Chinese regulations on the entry and exit of flora and fauna, the bureau destroyed the fruit.
