Peru exported almost 53 million kilos of fresh onions

Peru exported a total of 52,991,004 kilos of fresh onions at an FOB value of US $ 17,062,456 between January and August of this year. 

According to the Agrodata Peru website, the main market for this Peruvian product is the United States, where sales reached US $937,036. It was followed by Colombia (US $2,457,000), Spain (US $1,684,000), Chile (US $441,000) and Panama (US $6,000).

The main export companies in the aforementioned period were Miranda Internacional SAC with sales of US $1,651,000, Agrilor SAC (US $1,474,000), Keyperu SA (US $1,220,000), Novoliz SA (US $1,200,000) and Bland Farms SAC (US $995,000), among others.
