The US and Hong Kong are the biggest buyers of Peruvian grapes

According to a report by the Agrodata Peru website, during the first half of the year, Peru exported a total of 114,107,015 kilos of grapes, mainly to the United States and Hong Kong, its main destination markets. The report indicates that Peru placed 29,124,908 kilograms of this product worth US $84,008,290 in the United States and 22,521,310 kilos worth US $39,638,607 in Hong Kong during the aforementioned period.

Shipments to the Netherlands followed, with 16,881,896 kilos worth US $26,893,234, then China, with 11,043,403 kilos worth US $20,971,376.

Other relevant markets were Thailand, with 6,226,604 kilos (US $11,119,574), Indonesia with 4,421,112 kilos (US $7,490,794), Russia with 3,710,834 kilos (US $5,716,607), Mexico with 3,016,661 kilos (US $5,262,225), South Korea with 2,329,750 kilos (US $5,595,856), and Colombia with 1,921,178 kilos (US $2,743,882).

Last year, Peru exported a total of 282,116,525 kilos of grapes worth US $633,424,832.
