Following the large volumes of Chinese grapes of every variety entering the market, the imported Red Globe grape's price fell by 30%. Now it is almost the same as other varieties and has become one of the most affordable fruits. After midsummer started, there are less early grapes from Guandong, Guanxi, Fujian and Zhejiang as well as Red Globe. Chinese grapes, newly ripened, have now entered the market. This pulled down market prices and caused the Red Grape's price to decrease.
