Avocados from Mexico is pleased to announce their participation at the celebration of Canada 150th anniversary in collaboration with the Mexican embassy, which will take place in Ottawa, ON, on May 5th to 7th at the Horticulture building. The Mexican embassy, the Mexican Tourism Board and ProMexico are teaming up to create a 3 days’ event “Experience Mexico” in order to celebrate the relationship between the 2 countries.
This event, opened to public, will put emphasize on all Mexican pillars such as Tourism, education/culture, products & services, gastronomy, music & folklore.
As avocados are emblematic of Mexico, the brand will share tips and tricks on how to cook this Superfruit and sample 2 delicious recipes to the event attendees.
Also, Avocados from Mexico will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a co-branded promotion featured in Metro Quebec supermarkets. By buying any of the 4 participating brands, while using their Metro loyalty card, the consumers will enter for a chance to win a trip for 2 to Mexico. In-store tastings and social media communications will support and promote the contest.
