Fifteen companies exhibit under Saint-Charles' banner

For this 25th anniversary of Fruit Logistica, Saint-Charles Export was present with a bigger delegation compared to 2016. Fifteen companies exhibited under its banner on a stand of 144 m², presenting a wide range of products and services. Fruit and vegetables, from Spanish, Moroccan and French origin, conventional and organic, were part of this wide offer.

There was also a presence of companies specialized in fruit variety research, or specializing in sorting and packaging equipment, IT services as well as transporters/logisticians.

This year, Port-Vendres trading port was represented, both by the port manager, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Perpignan, and by the port operator, CLTM (Comptoir Languedocien de Transit et de Manutention ).

Some participants from Saint-Charles Export have confirmed their interest in Fruit Logistica, whose global dimension creates favourable conditions for creating new contacts from the five continents in only three days. Here are few of their testimonies.

For the company Lacour, which travels with a team of thirteen people, "Fruit Logistica remains the essential fair for companies that are interested in all origins of fruit and vegetables. The contacts were positive, although Thursday was overloaded, compared to the other two days. This fair is an opportunity to meet both suppliers and customers, and the German market is still a market with great potential for our company. "

Festival: "A good show even though Thursday was almost too busy because of the delays caused by the airports strikes. It seemed to me that the fair was not long enough, although on the third day, the tension fell back from noon. Fruit Logistica represents for us the possibility of having real appointments with our customers, who are most of them also exhibitors".

Fresh Forward Logistics (2FL): "A very positive, very good quality show that is very useful for us, both from the point of view of relations with existing partners and for prospecting and finding for new business opportunities".

Indiana Import participated for the first time with Saint-Charles Export at this fair, which she already knew well as a visitor: "An excellent show, where we even had difficulties to receive all customers who had no prior appointments. For us, Fruit Logistica has a different interest compared to Fruit Attraction Madrid, thanks to extensive contacts with Mexicans, Chileans, Argentines, Peruvians. Not to mention sub-Saharan Africa with whom we have been able to forge new ties. The three days were very intense, including Friday, which exceptionally was very active this year for us. "
