China: Garlic sales slightly increase

According to the relevant data from the Jinxiang County Garlic Wholesale Market, the average wholesale price for garlic was 13.84 Yuan per kilo last week; a slight increase of 0.93% compared with that of a fortnight ago. During last week, the fresh reserved garlic reached a sales volume of 33,746 tons, a slight increase of 0.5% over the 33,581 tons' sales volume the week before. In terms of garlic turnover, it was 467,044,640 Yuan, an increase of 1.44% in compared with that of the week before, which was 460,395,500 Yuan.
