Protected Geographical Indication

"China: "HuiChang Tangelo" receives AQSIQ PGI"

January 3rd, AQSIQ issued Notice No. 128th 2016, approved " Huichang Tangelo" as a Protected Geographical Indication for national products. Huichang is located in Ganzhou province.

So far, including Gannan navel orange, Xunwu sweet orange and Nankang sweet grapefruit, Ganzhou has 4 kinds of fruit products are awarded "national geographical indications protection products.

In recent years, Huichang County adjusted the ideas of fruit industry development and introduced the tangelos test cultivation and developed a special policy supporting in the development, marketing and industry management of the citrus fruit.
