A great reward after 10 years of work

Ten years of care and attention have gone into producing one of the most requested fruits of the moment. Mangosteen, a tropical fruit from Asia, has finally found its place in Mexico. "What makes the Mexican mangosteen so successful is the quality of the land where it grows. It is a soil with a layer of ash, as it is a volcanic area. This is why its flavor is more intense as well as sweet," says Claudia Solís, sales director at Viveros Tropicales Omoha.

Currently, the mangosteen accounts for 90% of the production of Viveros Tropicales Omoha, which exports this fruit mainly to the United States. However, this is not the only destination that they plan to investigate, since they are already arranging the relevant transport protocols with the Asiatic countries. They are also organizing the necessary procedures with Spain.
