This month's China - Australia Free Trade Zone integrated platform

At the Haipai cold chain distribution corporation in Shandong province, the newly built inspection site has sped up construction of the integrated platform for warehouses. If everything happens according to plan, the platform can be used from the end of November this year on. Once the project is built, it will be China's third largest integrated platform for the inspection of cold chain distributions.

In September, following the opening of the fastest container shipping route between China and Australia, this new platform will offer more fast and convenient distribution channels for developing trade transactions between Chinese and Australian enterprises. With the support of the city's responsible government department, the Haipai cold chain distribution corporation in Shandong cooperated with the port in Rizhao (Shandong province) to apply for a permit that allows them to import meat, seafood and other fresh food through the assigned trading post. The inspection section of the customs will set up a permanent agency there, which will handle official businesses on the spot. The aim is to increase the custom's working efficiency and decrease the cost and time period of storing and shipping goods.
