China: 5 meter long fruit cake appears in Rizhao city
To celebrate that two full months have passed since the opening of the Suning shopping mall in Rizhao city, four or five pastry chefs made a five meter long giant fruit cake on the spot. This drew the attention of the public.
On October 29th this year, the Suning shopping mall, located in the city of Rizhao in Shandong province, celebrated its two month anniversary. Four to five pastry chefs made a five meter long fruit cake. After the cake was finished, staff members cut the cake into small portions which were given to the customers to taste.
