New Natura Iblea product available in Sicily

For the first time a leading organic company is dedicating itself to the promotion of large volumes of sesame seeds, a product that is highly valued for its properties. Natura Iblea wants to offer its customers a homegrown product, which carries all the important organic certifications such as Bio, Biosuisse, Global Gap, global Grasp, as well as traceability and an excellent quality.

Sesame was introduced to Sicily during the Arabic rule and has been cultivated ever since. The especially appreciated variety Ispica sesame, grows mainly in the region Ragusa, and is known for its aroma and high quality.

Sesame seeds are very healthy due to their high content of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, natural oils, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese, copper, zinc, fiber, thiamine, vitamin B6, folic acid, protein and tryptophan.
