We talked to Enrico Giubelli, the company's export manager. In the video below, he talks about the sprayer in his own words.
"This year, we have introduced a polyethylene suction tower, developed especially for top fruit and vineyards. We built in polyethylene rather than steel due to the electrostatic charge, which enables a better distribution of the treatment, increases efficiency and reduces losses."
Even though Tifone's stand was at the far end of the pavilion, many operators showed their interest. Even in a field such as that of sprayers, where it didn't seem possible to make more improvements, there are companies introducing new technologies.
Research is ongoing to avoid dripping and drifting, which cause losses of product and make treatments less effective.
The model on display was equipped with a 2,000 litre tank with a steel cart.
"It was the first time we took part but operators showed a lot of interest so we hope we can go back next year."
