Harvest of Honeycrisp apples underway

Washington State is coming off warm temperatures in late August, yet it’s the cool nights that have growers talking. Cool nights help deliver the vibrant colors in apples, and are particularly important in Stemilt’s quest to harvest the best Honeycrisp apples. Harvest of this consumer favorite apple is underway now across eastern Washington, including Stemilt’s picturesque Othello, WA orchards.
