Ecuador assists banana producers from Paraguay

On July 4, four Ecuadorian experts started to assist banana producers in Paraguay to improve the different chains of production of this product, announced the Paraguayan Foreign Minister, Eladio Loizaga.

The Ecuadorian technicians are in Paraguay in response to a request made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help them with their knowledge on the subject, Loizaga stated.

According to the Loizaga, the cooperation will allow local planters to improve the production and the way of packaging the loads that are exported abroad.

He said the experts would develop their work in collaboration with staff of the Paraguayan Ministry of Agriculture in the fields where the Paraguayan banana production takes place.
