Shanxi onions exported to South Korea for the first time

Quwo onions are renowned for their top quality. According to the statistics, from over 6,000 hectares vegetable plantation areas, over 30% are planted with onions and garlic.

July 1st marked the initial export day of Quwo onions to South Korea. After inspection and quarantine of Shanxi Entry & Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau, 24 tons of onions from Quwo county in Linfen city, Shanxi province were officially exported for the first time.

Thanks to such a good incentive, the local onion price increased by 2 Yuan per kilo, and onion growers can gain an extra 225,000 Yuan per hectare. South Korea is very satisfied with the quality of Quwo onions and their scope of cooperation will be expanded. The following 1,000 tons onions will be exported to South Korea soon.
