On May 19th,after the inspection of Zhanjiang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the first batchof Lychee from Zhanjiang city were exported to the US successfully. These lycheesweighed around 38 tons, with a value of 114,700 US dollars.
Thanks to itscool temperature and excellent geographical environment, Zhanjiang city is notonly considered one of the most important lychee growing areas in China, butalso an important base for lychee processing and export. In order to help theexport business of lychee export enterprises, Zhanjiang Inspection and QuarantineBureau have been improving their inspection service, which solves theconcerns of these enterprises in a timely manner while improving the exported lychee quality.
