How does Click4fruit.com work?
“People can sign up to www.click4fruit.com on the website itself, completely free of charge. After that they can place one or more advertisement, also free of charge. Anyone interested can start bidding on these advertisements. People can also get into contact with each other. If they have reached an agreement, the trader places the amount on the invoice in the escrow account of Foundation Trust4fruit, and the producer is notified by Click4fruit.com that the product can be packaged. An independent inspector then examines the batch. We currently have a deal with the SGS for that. After the batch has been approved and delivered F.O.B. (Free On Board), the invoice is paid by Trust4fruit.”What is Trust4fruit?
“The Foundation Trust4fruit is a foundation with an escrow account. This account is with the Rabobank. Trust4fruit has the approval of De Nederlansche Bank (The Dutch Central Bank), and this also monitors the implementation of the financial flow.”

“Click4fruit.com asks $150 of both producer and trader for each deal made. This money is used for use of the online platform, for payments via Trust4fruit, and for the arrangement of the inspection. The invoice for the service of the inspectorate is split 50/50 between producer and trader.”
