The new products include Delicioni spring onions, Coolwrap cabbage leaves, snack carrots and Kohrispy kohlrabi sticks. The latter were on display at Fruit Logistica.

Director Leonardo Bassi told us that "they literally flew off the shelves!". They have in fact a very delicate and unusual taste that makes you want to have more.
Kohlrabi
This vegetable is not well known in Italy but is actually quite popular in Germany or India.
It has a high vitamin C content and is rich in anti-oxidants.
It is usually cooked, but Bejo Zaden worked to find tasty varieties like Konan and Kolibri that are also excellent raw.
The flesh is crunchy and juicy, with a delicate melon aroma and a sweet taste. What is more, sticks do not turn brown once cut, so they are ideal for the fresh-cut range.
