The Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism (PromPeru) will participate in the 2016 Fruit Logistica along with a group of companies from the Peruvian agricultural sector to promote national exports of fresh fruits and vegetables.
The Fruit Logistica, which is organized by Messe Berlin GMBH company, will be held in Berlin between February 3 and 5.
"Our participation aims at promoting exports of fresh fruits and vegetables to the European market so as to consolidate our presence as a supplier of these products," stated the general secretariat of PromPeru.
The Fruit Logistica 2016 fair is the biggest trade event in Europe in the field of fresh fruits and vegetables, and among other things, it brings together the leading European importers, people from the logistics sector, cold chain, and transportation of these products.
"Participating in the fair will allow us to position our exportable supply of fruits and vegetables to the European market; one of the main destinations of our exports," they added.
The export director of PromPeru, Luis Torres, and official Danae Yamashiro will be travelling to Berlin to participate in this event.
