MyFruit Class Selector app monitors base colour development of top fruit

The MyFruit Class Selector app offers the opportunity to keep track of the base colour development of apples and pears. The product changes from green (unripe) to yellow (ripe) depending on initial quality, but also the quality of the storage. Capturing a base colour value in a practical way wasn't possible until now, but with this application this can now be done with a simple push of a button.

By judging the apple/pear parties based on base colour both upon arrival and during storage season in this way, an indication of the storability is given. The difference in base colour (development) between parties, but also between fruits within a party contribute to the quality image of the stock and the determination of the right time to offer them in sales. Capturing a base colour value in a practical, objective and reproducible way is important. This is what the app was developed for. Scan, measure, share and store. Check the base colour with just a press of a button!
