New design storefront and supermarket for juice squeezer

JBT Corporation, technological solutions provider for
fruit juice companies and vegetable processors will
be showcasing new innovations at the upcoming Fruit Logistica.

In attendance at Fruit Logistica 2016 with both its fresh and processing businesses, JBT will be showcasing its entire fresh produce technology line, as well as highlighting its role as a processing and extraction solutions provider for fruits and vegetables.

On the fresh side, JBT will have Produce Identification equipment on show, plus selected examples of juice processing technology alongside videos displaying the company’s other products and services.

Fruit Juice innovations
Visitors will have the chance to view a new prototype Fresh’n Squeeze® juice extractor, which recently made its debut together with fresh, new branding for the system.

The new model of the Fresh’n Squeeze Multi Fruit Juicer has been designed to produce up to 100 litres of high-grade fruit juice per hour, complementing a range globally recognised as delivering the highest yielding juice currently available for the foodservice sector.

JBT business development manager, John Siddle, said: “The extraction technology has been repackaged in a sleek new design for storefront and supermarket display and use. It was always functional, but now it is updated and attractive.”

Technology that delivers
However, Fresh’n Squeeze is just a small part of the range of products that JBT will be showcasing at the trade exhibition. On the processing side, the company will highlight its FTE-CE cold extraction
system, particularly focusing on its application related to vegetables.

JBT head of EMENA (Europe, Middle East and North Africa) operations, Christian Gelati, said: “JBT will be pointing out the flexibility of the system and its ability to deliver high extraction efficiency fora premium quality end product.”

Gelati said JBT would also showcase the ability of the company’s new Extended Shelf Life and Pulsed Electric Field technologies to add value to processed vegetables.

Other products on display include a new Laser Food laser labelling machine for custom fruit marking and a range of coatings developed to deliver an improved appearance for fruits and vegetables while also helping preserve product quality during long shipments.

Many of the coatings have been formulated for use worldwide, rather than for sole use in certain countries or regions.

Summing up JBT’s expectations ahead of Fruit Logistica 2016, Gelati said the company was aiming to demonstrate to visitors its capability to deliver effective solutions for all areas of their businesses.

He added: “JBT is the ideal partner for fresh produce and fruit juice suppliers.

“We are able to support them in the different parts of their businesses both in the fresh area and in processing with knowhow, highly competent service and first class technology.”
