Online marketing campaign for California Bacon avocados

California Bacon avocados were marketed in all Mollie
Stone's stores during December. Mollie Stone's is a 
small upscale chain in the San Francisco area, and 
their initiative was supported by the California 
Avocado Commission (CAC) with targeted social 
media posts, reaching more than 35,000 people 
and driving nearly 1,000 engagements (link clicks, likes, shares etc.).



In doing so, Mollie Stone’s stores were able to deliver California Bacon avocados to their customers prior to the launch of the California Hass season. Mollie Stone’s transitioned to California Hass avocados in early January. Tom Wheeler of Mollie Stone’s reported, “The California Bacon avocados provided our customers with a California quality avocado eating experience during a time when only imported Hass are available.”
