Artevos presents new variety at the expoSE in Karlsruhe

Haronia will be introduced to the European public at the trade fair in Karlsruhe on 18 and 19 November 2015. This year at the expoSE Artevos presents a new redcurrant variety:

Haronia, a coincidental seedling found in Oberkirch/Tiergarten in southern Baden. The sweet flavor and the long raceme are the characteristics of this variety. The large berries are split resistant and therefore can be stored and transported easily. According to Artevos the variety, with a reliable crop, early ripening and long harvest window is a real asset for the professional growers. "Haronia" is well suited to being marketed as fresh fruit.
