Frieda's launches re-brand in Atlanta

At the PMA Fresh Summit, Frieda's will be showcasing its brand new look and new packaging on many of their 400 products.

"At Frieda's, we've always been different, just like our products - genuine, spirited, forward-thinking and family-first," says Karen Caplan, President and CEO of Frieda's Specialty Produce. "Given the importance of authenticity to today's generation, we felt our brand could do a better job of connecting with people and elevating the specialty category as a whole." Working closely with strategic branding consultants Edmundson Martin, Frieda's launched a consumer insights initiative, competitive analysis, and in-store reviews. "We used what we learned to develop a new brand voice that is friendly and smart, approachable, with a sense of humor that welcomes people in, and that is inspiring new food experiences for friends, families, and food lovers everywhere."

At booth #2546, Frieda's wants people to stop by and check it out. They will be sampling craft beer laced with some of the company's specialty produce to reflect its new brand personality as well as the legacy of the company. "You'll just have to come visit us to see what's available," finished Caplan.
