The production of tangerines is estimated to reach 2.95 million tons this year in Yichang county, one of the largest tangerine producing counties in Weifang province. Prices are expected to exceed last year's prices.
The production of tangerines has decreased all over China. So far, this season, 1.8 million tons have been produced, a decrease of 14.4% compared to last year. On the contrary, the production of Nanfeng mandarin and orange is expected to increase.
