Floor heating systems replace coal stoves in Chinese greenhouses

At present, common heating systems in Chinese greenhouses in winter are coal stoves. Coal stoves come with a number of disadvantages. Firstly they are not energy efficient and produce heavily polluted air. Other disadvantages are that the stoves cannot be applied to large-scale production and temperatures inside greenhouses cannot be kept at a constant level. The Chinese government is promoting a new floor heating system that employs hot air pumps. The air heaters can heat up the temperature fast and the heat can be recycled. There are many greenhouse development projects ongoing in China, and the new technology will be implemented quickly.
