Norway: Sicilian juice tops best product list
The purpose of the blind test was to recommend a top quality juice for a good and healthy breakfast. The test did not include the juices from concentrate, the website published the results and specified that the sommeliers have focused only on "true quality juice, including pulp and not from concentrate." Sixteen juices were rated out of all available in various supermarkets throughout the country.
Below are sommelier responses for the 100% juice of blood oranges from Sicily that Oranfrizer packages for the private label Coop Norge, sold within the chain.
“The product differs from other juices naturally because of its color as it is made from blood orange. It smells similar to grapefruit. It has a fresh and good balance in acid. Sweet ripe fruit with bitter notes. Lasting taste. A very nice and fresh orange juice”.

"In Norway, this year, the company has made a guarantee to our clients and to consumers for an extended schedule of delivery of blood oranges. We started at the beginning of January and we have concluded through May. It has not been an easy season, but we did it and we begin again in December with the "new entry" between the premium products selected from Coop Norge, the Tarocco Ippolito, an orange already pigmented in December."
