Tech specialist offers greenhouse scan and SWOT

Thanks to many years of experience in various management roles at Red Star in The Netherlands, Jan Baars developed as a technical specialist. Numerous rounds of inspection on countless acres of greenhouse vegetables have nurtured Jans’ talent to execute an adequate corporate greenhouse scan and deliver a well-founded SWOT analysis. Jan’s brain is hardwired to think in solutions.

He has had many experiences with implementing policies aimed at food safety, traceability and increase of efficiency by means of automation. He’s also knowledgeable in the areas of robotization and shortening of the supply chain through logistic improvements. On top of this, Jan will offer a good reflection on the role and consequences of the management style of the greenhouse manager.
