Stonefruit harvest from Spain and France

The peach and nectarine harvest in different regions are overlapping. The farming areas of Huelva, Murcia and Valencia start in the high season. Tarragona and Badajoz both will begin in week 22, the last week of May, with harvesting small amounts. Lérida will follow in the second week of June. In all regions only small quantities of peaches are currently available and the majority of the nectarines are small in size.

Apricots are already harvested in Murcia, and harvest of the first produce in the area Lérida / Zaragoza will follow in week 21, 18-24 May. Last week the flat peach harvest started with the varieties Carioca and Ufo 3.
The plum harvest starts in Murcia with the variety Red Beauty in the middle of week 21.
