"Recruitment campaign for "green jobs" continues"

Committee for Vocational Education sees results of campaign

The numbers of traineeships for "green jobs" shows a constant trend, despite the nationwide decline in the economy. A nationwide survey among the members of the Committee on the Vocational Education policy of the German Farmers Association (Deutschen Bauernverbandes, DBV) showed this positive trend. Vice President Werner Schwarz Ansbach of DBV in Bavaria chaired the survey on 20th and 21st of April 2015. The Committee were convinced of the high quality of the agricultural education system in Bavaria when visiting the vocational training college Ansbach and the education centre Triesdorf.

The DBV Committee interpreted this to be that the implementation of agricultural education in recent years was a success. Those responsible for education were in favour of continuously adapting the agricultural education and training to the changing practice of agricultural science and farming. And establish an efficient, transparent and nationally comparable education system.
