CaroTrans enhances direct service to Northern Europe

CaroTrans, a leading global NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier) and ocean freight consolidator, today announces a new weekly LCL service from New York to Helsinki, Finland, a key hub for consolidations into Northwestern Russia. This direct service option eliminates transshipment costs and delays associated with freight moving via adjacent ports in Northern Europe.

For the last 13 years, CaroTrans has partnered with Nordicon a leading NVO in the Nordic region with offices in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. Their comprehensive logistics resources include: a fully integrated domestic trucking network, warehouse services at each port and advanced IT resources such as their e-cargo release for expedited freight discharge. The trusted Nordicon Team provides reliable on-carriage to final destinations including Kotka, Lappeenranta and St. Petersburg, Russia. CaroTrans in cooperation with Nordicon also offers direct export services from New York to Oslo; Chicago, Houston and New York to Gothenburg and Gothenburg to Chicago and New York import services.
