Organics Unlimited continues to support local communities
Employees from Organics Unlimited and grocer Jimbo’s… Naturally! volunteered their time to provide GROW organic bananas to runners at the Carlsbad 5000 on Sunday, March 29, 2015. The 5K race, held in Carlsbad, Calif., in San Diego County, attracts thousands of amateur and professional participants annually. More than 40 cases of bananas were donated, which provided race participants with key post-race nutrients including carbohydrates, potassium and sodium, which are important in helping prevent muscle cramps after exercise.
