Major concerns in Spanish tomato sector

Spanish tomato producers and exporters have expressed concerns about the low prices that have been prevailing since the beginning of the season, reports the German website Fruchthandel.de. In Almería, the largest tomato growing region in Spain, had a revenue in February of 32% lower than in the previous month. This applies to all varieties of tomatoes. This situation is not limited to Almería, but also applies to other growing regions as well.
