Special Fruit renews house style and Berry Fresh packaging

Special Fruit presented its new house style for BerryFresh during Fruit Logistica 2015. As of mid April the products will be available with the new pink logo and the green crown above it. This was said by Sarah Hellemans. "We believe renewing is very important in our company and innovation in various areas such as varieties and packagings every year."

Pink and green

Some of the soft fruit packaging has changed. "Most striking is the snack packaging for blueberries. It's a cup with a removable lid. You can still see the fruit well through the packaging. Due to the new pink colour it looks fresher and younger and the combination with a green background makes it 'healthy'. We are playing into the customer's health consciousness with this new design. The new logo has a crown on top. This goes well with the royal red fruits in the packaging. There is a hand above the crown. This hand is also on our brand BestChoice. It means that everything has been carefully hand picked."

Resealable
Sarah says that Special Fruit is introducing a resealable packaging for the large packages of blueberries (from 300 grams). "It's a topseal packaging, in which you can open and close part of the plastic. The packaging can be opened and closed as often as needed. This is certainly added value for larger packagings. This means not everything has to be eaten at once and it keeps the product fresh for longer."
