Many informative events are planned to be held during the trade show. One of them is the 1st International Cherry Congress that is going to take place on Friday 24 April 2015 offering among others production forecasts from major production countries around the world. Many international lecturers, systematically engaged in the cultivation of cherry, are going to participate and propose innovative methodologies and actions to optimize the cultivation and distribution of this specific fruit.
Freskon is divided into three parts:
- The exhibition, where companies from the Balkans and Southeast Europe will have the chance to contact existing and new clients from their own stands.
- Congresses and presentations, with an International Cherry Congress as the main attraction offering among others production forecasts from major production countries around the world.
- B2B meetings between supermarket chains based in Greece and in other parts of the world

- Free of charge accommodation for 2 or 3 days at a hotel in Thessaloniki
- and free rides from an to the airport and the exhibition ground
