Only planned programs for Israeli tomatoes

Israel tomato growers received bad prices in December at the local market. However the export to Russia was good.

In January they changed to a good local market, but all export goes to planned programs. “The production now is almost 25% of Decembers, so we are only dealing with the commitments for supermarkets,” says Erez Eitan from Dvine Growers.
"Also we don't won't to take a risk with open markets in Russia and Europe because the quality is under the average of the Israeli tomatoes following the cold winter. We are looking forward to starting harvest as usual from the middle of February."
