"It has been a struggle on the supply side due the bad weather in Egypt last week and this week in Morocco, also Spain has seen its share of bad weather too."In November the UK supply moves to a combination of Egyptian, Moroccan and then Spanish strawberries.
"It has been one thing after another as far as strawberry supply is concerned, but even more so on the supply of raspberries, they have been hit quite hard and have been difficult to get since before Christmas," explains Gray.
