According to the Relaxnews price barometer, banana prices have increased by 18% to €1.51/kilo. Potato prices have also increased, by 10%, to €0.32/kilo.
Meanwhile, the price of clementines has decreased by -7% to €2.14/kilo. Chicory prices decreased by -6% to €2.66/kilo as did orange prices to €1.89/kilo.
The Relaxnews price barometer is made every Wednesday using information from the Market News Service, under the Ministry of Agriculture. Every week 20 or so SNM employees record the retail prices of 150 products (fruit, vegetable, meat, fish…) in 150 medium and large supermarkets all over France (a representative sample household).
