Delhaize recalls turnips and endive lettuce in Luxembourg

In Luxembourg, testing on Delhaize products has resulted in pesticides being found on turnips and endive lettuce. The products have been taken off the shelves and previously purchased products can be taken back to the store, reports the Luxembourg website tageblatt.lu.

The vegetables had residue of pesticides at a level too high to be able to sell them safely. Therefore consuming these vegetables is obviously not advised. People in Luxembourg who have purchased turnips between September 5th and 15th and endive lettuce between September 8th and 16th can bring these products back to the store and they will get their money back.
