Nearly 70% of US-produced oranges comes from Florida

Florida is, after California, the most important American state when it comes to exporting fresh fruit and vegetables, TaxWatch, the independent analysis and research institute of Florida, reports. Citrus cultivation in particular is important here. 69.9% of all oranges grown in the US come from Florida. With grapefruit, that share is 66.2%.
