Thirty Peruvian exporters and sixty Asian buyers will participate in ExpoPeru China

Peru will offer fresh fruit and vegetables in ExpoPeru China

PromperĂș stated that thirty Peruvian exporters and five Peruvian tour operators, as well as sixty buyers from China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan, would be attending ExpoPeru China.

ExpoPeru China, which will be held in the cities of Beijing and Shanghai between July 15 and 18, will position Peru as a supplier of quality products and services, as well as a tourist destination.

As part of Expoperu China, there will be a business conference, which will be attended by nearly 60 buyers from China (Dalian, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Shanghai), Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan.

There will also be an international forum on investment and exports to which over 200 Asian entrepreneurs are expected to assist.

"The addition of buyers from neighbouring countries is done in order to contact them with the 35 Peruvian entrepreneurs participating in the fair, and expand their sales opportunities," said Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Magali Silva, who will head ExpoPeru China.

Some of the products that will be offered include fruits and vegetables (fresh and processed), coffee and cocoa, exotic fruit products, functional foods, natural products, snacks, frozen fish (canned and cured), seafood and alpaca garments for the ladies.

"This event that promotes our country at the international level is important because it reinforces Peru's image and presents us as a reliable business and investment destination for the Asian markets," he said.
