Stable German imports of fresh vegetables in 2013

The reported decline in fresh vegetable imports to Germany in recent years appears to have stopped, report the German Agricultural Information Bureau (AMI) on their website.

Recent figures from the German Bureau for statistics showed that in 2013 a total of 3.06 million tons of fresh vegetables were imported to Germany. That is only slightly less than the year before. This won't be confirmed until official figures are in but it seems to be a slight possibility.
