Belarus adjusts price rules for cucumbers and tomatoes

Belarus has updated its price-regulation framework following a resolution signed by Prime Minister Alyaksandr Turchyn. The revised measures introduce tighter oversight of monthly price movements for key greenhouse crops. Any increase in the cost of cucumbers or tomatoes above 0.3% per month must now be formally justified to the Commission on State Price Regulation under the Council of Ministers.

Authorities will retain extended powers on barter arrangements. The resolution continues through the end of 2026, the right of regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee to approve lists of operations and organizations allowed to carry out barter transactions.

The document further updates pricing rules for procurement entities and suppliers that are not manufacturers when fulfilling state orders under Government Resolution No. 399 of 22 July 2025. The amendments will come into force after official publication.
