Located within the one-hour economic circle of Kunming, Chengjiang has now achieved a blueberry cultivation area of 23,500 mu (about 1,567 hectares), with an annual output of approximately 30,000 metric tons and a total production value exceeding RMB 2.3 billion. Improvements in the logistics system have injected new momentum into the industry. According to the head of SF Express, the volume of blueberries shipped via SF Express has surged from 50,000 parcels in 2018 to 10.17 million parcels in 2025, with 6-box packs weighing between 500 grams and 1 kilogram being the most common. Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Chengdu are the main destination cities. Cross-border shipping has also accelerated significantly, with continuously optimized delivery times to cities such as Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Tokyo.
