South Korean government conducts quality inspection of Brazilian mangoes

Representatives of the South Korean government have conducted an audit of five mangoes exporters located in the Vale do São Francisco. The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) accompanied the visit, which was also joined by ValeExport.

South Korea receives mangoes from five exporters from the region. The exports of the fruit to South Korea were not interrupted during the pandemic. During this period, a partnership was established between the two countries, with recognition of the inspection work done by MAPA and their federal agricultural inspectors, who were in charge of guaranteeing the quality of the products purchased by Korean buyers.

From now on, APQA inspections will be carried out only at the beginning of the harvest and not during the entire harvest, as it was before the pandemic.
