Argentina has started its blueberry export season 2020. This year, Argentina will continue being focused on preserving quality and ensuring the sweetness that makes its fruit stand out in the productions of the region. It will also focus on the production of organic blueberries and on increasing the sea shipping rate.
Total weekly arrivals of blueberries from Argentina to the US amounted to 588,000 tons in week 43. 225,000 were shipped to Europe (minus the UK) and 38,000 were shipped to Asia.
ABC provides ongoing information on estimated volumes broken out by week, arrival date, market and via. During the season, from September to December, Weekly Crop Reports are issued with the actual exported volumes.
