Avocados grown in Dominican territory are the next items to go on the list of Dominican products that will be exported to China. This was confirmed last Friday by the Dominican ambassador to China, Briunny Garabito. He said that all the required permits have already been approved.
“The inspections have already been done by the Customs Directorate in the Dominican Republic so that the avocadoes can enter,” Garabito told a group of reporters during a seminar in China, when visiting the Dominican embassy in that nation.
Dominicantoday.com also quoted him as saying that ”… steps will be initiated to insert more Dominican items into the Chinese market.”
