The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) and the Main State Inspectorate for Seed Production, Quarantine and Plant Protection of Belarus are to undertake negotiations over the supply of apples and pears on July 10th. The parties are set to consider a system of phytosanitary certification for apples and pears from Belarus, as well as set up a system for the traceability of these products as they are supplied from Belarus to Russia.
