Iran exported more than 204,000 tons of apples valued at US$82 million during the first half of the Iranian year from March to September 2025, according to data from the Iran Customs Administration.
Iraq remained the leading destination, followed by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. Export volumes were shipped to Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Iraq, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Libya, Syria, Turkey, the UAE, India, Tajikistan, Kuwait, the Philippines, Qatar, and Oman.
Iraq imported 147,000 tons of Iranian apples worth US$56 million, keeping its position as Iran's primary market. Pakistan ranked second with 18,700 tons valued at US$7.29 million. The UAE followed with 10,000 tons worth US$8.36 million.
Other key destinations included Turkmenistan with 6,700 tons valued at US$2.61 million and Syria with 2,474 tons worth US$993,000. Kazakhstan imported 1,305 tons valued at US$526,000, while Tajikistan purchased 1,000 tons worth US$397,000. Turkey imported 21,000 tons valued at US$90,000. Oman received 1,691 tons valued at US$740,000, and Russia imported 693 tons worth US$311,000.
Additional shipments included 44 tons to the Philippines valued at US$25,000, 414 tons to Qatar worth US$188,000, and 34 tons to Kuwait valued at US$15,000. Georgia imported 42 tons worth US$20,000, and Libya imported 297 tons valued at US$161,000.
Since late September, Iran has exported an additional 52,000 tons of apples valued at US$34 million, maintaining a steady presence in global markets.
